In the harsh environment we are all currently living in and with the rapidly spreading Coronavirus that we are having to tackle, it is not surprising why so many people are taking advantage of not just our deep cleaning services but our disinfection fogging service in Bristol and around the UK.
Whilst disinfection is different from cleaning and sanitising services, they both have a big part to play and go hand in hand in protecting your home against harmful viruses and bacteria.
Fogging is our preferred choice and the best method in the fight to kill germs giving us the ability to reach those hard to get to places.
There is currently no specific treatment/cure for COVID-19. Fogging is part of our preventative measures to minimise the risk of exposure.
Fogging is a method that has been used for years primarily within commercial food and and manufacturing spaces as it is a ideal solution for both combating airborne pathogens as well as successfully disinfecting hard to reach areas.
In normal circumstances fogging may seem extreme for the home environment. However in order to carry out work in these unprecedented times it is far from extreme.
Did you know that 6000 coronavirus bacteria can fit in one full stop! .
It is also more contagious than the seasonal flu!
Extreme measures are needed to halt the spread of the coronavirus and this is why fogging combined with our carefully chosen cleaning agents kill 99.99% of viruses.
Our fogging machine starts by vaporising our specialised cleaning agent. It is then released as a fine mist (or fog) which travels from 3 to 8 metres. Once released the mist will eradicate any airborne pathogens, the mist will then settle on the surfaces killing 99.99% of germs and viruses.
Because it is a vapour it can reach all the little nooks and crannies that are not reachable when cleaning in a traditional manner. This method means we can disinfect your home room by room and floor to ceiling, ensuring your home is disinfected leaving it safe to re enter. Our fully trained staff will go from room to room making sure the cleaning agent is adequately dispensed so the chemicals can do their work and kill any nasty bacteria and viruses. The detergent we use is tested and proven to kill RNA viruses with a success rate of 99.99%, As Coronaviruses are a group related to the RNA viruses and has the same genetic material we can reasonably expect that our product is efficient against the virus.
Below is a more in depth list:
As far as chemicals go, here at We Like 2 Clean It, we have put a lot of research in to what to use and we have sourced what we believe to be the best antiviral disinfectant on the the market.
All biocides contained within the products fully comply with the EU Biocidal product Directive 98/8/EC, ensuring a high level of protection for humans, animals and the environment. It has also been picked by us in order to not cause damage to furniture.
It has been assessed for virucidal activity following test methods such as BS EN 14476 and BS EN 14675.
Results show that they are effective against a range of viruses such as the H1N1 influenza virus, Norovirus Hepititis B, Hepititis C, HIV and the Ebola virus.
Claims have been made that other chemicals have been tested and guarantee killing COVID-19, however this strain of coronavirus is not currently available for commercial laboratories to test against, so we cannot give a definitive contact time and dilution rate.
However, given the above test data we can reasonably expect the chemical supplied to have efficacy against the virus.
The combination of cleaning and fogging is the best method we have in order to keep our staff and our customers as safe as we possibly can.
Currently all we can do is minimise your risk to exposure.
